We take a small 8% protection fee from each order. It helps us keep things safe, fair, and running smoothly; like a well-oiled frying pan.
The standard delivery fee is R100 and is automatically applied at checkout when you select delivery. This flat fee helps keep things simple and consistent for all orders.
If you’ve submitted a special request quote, your vendor may include a custom delivery fee as part of their total quote; for example, if delivery is further away or requires extra arrangements. In those cases, the delivery fee will be clearly stated in the quote before you confirm your order
💳 Orders & Payments
Orders are paid for in full at checkout; just like any online store. The payment is held securely until the order is delivered and confirmed.
Don’t panic. If your vendor doesn’t deliver, contact us immediately. We’ll step in to mediate, and if the vendor is at fault, you’ll be refunded.
Snap a photo and report it within 24 hours. We’ll review your claim and may issue a partial or full refund, depending on the situation and evidence provided.
Vendors receive their money within 24–48 hours after delivery — giving buyers a short window to raise any issues.
Kindle Kitchen mediates all disputes and makes the final decision based on evidence from both sides. Fair. Simple. Deliciously transparent.

Easy! Just head to our vendor registration page, fill in your details, upload a few tasty photos with prices, and you’re good to go. Once verified, your kitchen goes live!
We encourage all vendors to meet local health and safety standards. Clean kitchens make happy customers, and better reviews.
Take it as feedback, not failure. But if poor ratings become a pattern (we’re talking consistent 1-stars), Kindle Kitchen may remove your listing to protect buyers and the community.

🎁 Vendor Rewards
Vendors can earn marketing rewards based on consistent performance over a 3-month rolling period.
The measurable criteria is based on:

🍰 Order completion rate: 95% or higher (no missed or cancelled orders).

🍰 Food & Delivery
Some vendors deliver directly, others offer collection; it’s up to them. You’ll see the delivery options before you check out as well as delivery date and time.
Some vendors may offer samples; it’s up to them! Keep an eye on listings marked “samples available” or reach out to your vendor directly through the chat.
You can filter vendors by allergens, diet (vegan, gluten-free, halal, etc.), and even ingredients; so you only see food that fits your life.
We’re growing fast! For now, check what’s available in your area by entering your location on the site. New vendors pop up every week.
Of course! Many vendors offer catering for birthdays, weddings, office parties; you name it. Use the “Occasions” category to find them.
🛡️ Refunds & Protection
Kindle Kitchen may issue partial or full refunds depending on the situation, at our discretion, based on evidence provided. Our goal is to make sure everyone is treated fairly.
It keeps the marketplace safe, supports dispute resolution, and covers operational costs. Think of it as your peace-of-mind bite; just 8%.
Vendors are responsible for what they cook and sell. We vet and monitor listings, but ultimately, we connect people; we don’t stir the pot.
